The conclave starts this Tuesday! Who will be the next Pope? Our new interactive page Habemus Papam takes you through a guided series of five questions based on the ages of the "papabili", their country of origin and the major challenges facing the Church, to determine a shortlist of Cardinals from which you'll make your final choice.
The name of the contest refers to the ceremonial formula with which the Cardinal Protodeacon (at present His Eminence Jean-Louis Tauran) will announce the election of the new Pope to the People of God.
"Habemus Papam" provides you with a profile for each of the 115 Cardinals, who in the coming days will be called upon to choose Pope Benedict XVI's successor, and from whom the new Pope will be elected, so it's great way to learn more.
