Bringing God to the streets… and the skate parksSt. Francis of Assisi said to preach the gospel always; and if necessary, use words. Franciscan friar Fra Gabriel takes these remarks to heart. Before he became a friar, he was a skateboarder, but left it behind when he entered religious life. A few years later his superiors encouraged him to take it up again and now Fra Gabriel uses his passion for skateboarding to reach out and share God’s love with others.
