Christian couple sets up fund
Donald (Boone) Gould is a former Marine who was a few classes short of a music theory degree before losing his wife and becoming homeless. Now, thanks to playing music on the streets of Sarasota, he’s become an overnight viral sensation.  A young Christian couple who took the time to get to know Donald better, interviewed him and then decided to open a Go Fund Me account to help provide Donald a second chance at life. The story has since been featured in the media.

Since the making of this video and the launch of the fundraiser, Donald has been offered a full ride to return to Spring Arbor University and he was finally able to reconnect with his son. Perhaps the biggest step so far for Donald is his recent decision to enter rehab.

This is a inspiring story of what a difference an "ordinary" person can make in another’s life and a reminder that all of us deserve second chances (and sometimes thirds and forths!).
