An experiment in how we “look,” what we “see” and what we may be missingWhen you look at a photograph, what do you see? Generally, we think we see the subject—the person or thing we are looking at. This video invites us to think twice about that. A photograph—or any piece of art for that matter—is actually more about the person who has created it. As proof of this, six photographers were invited to photograph the same man, one at a time. Each was told something different about the man, and their photos emanate their assumptions. It’s a reminder to not only think twice about what we’re looking at but that what we see is not always what is true, or at least the complete picture. To see more as God sees means we must be willing to acknowledge this and remain open to what may not be obvious.
