“If at the end of my life, all I can say are these few words, it will be enough.”

Joe Zambon - published on 09/22/16

Jesus, I love you

With all of my heart, and all of my soul, and all of my mind, and all of my strength.

If you haven’t heard of Catholic folk artist Joe Zambon, get on over to iTunes right now. We recommend starting with his album Brothers, which, according to apologist Matt Fradd, “is sophisticatedly simple and susurrantly robust.” He also makes sure to note that “Joe’s musical ability is as exceptional as his beard is manly.”

Today we bring you a more stripped-down, solemn piece: “Jesus I Love You” from his EP “In Lethbridge With Strings.”

It’s a simple song.

At the end of my life, after all of my studies, after all of my labor, and in response to all God has done for me, if all I can say are these few words – if I can say them in truth – it will be enough:

Jesus I Love You

Jesus I Love You

Jesus I Love You more and more

With all of my heart

And all of my soul

And all of my mind

And all of my strength
