Horror has overwhelmed me…

ALEPPO, SYRIA - DECEMBER 15, 2016: A wounded boy sits inside an ambulance as Syrian rebels and their families gather at the rebel-held al-Amiriyah neighborhood. They wait to be evacuated to the government-controlled area of Ramoussa on the southern outskirts of the city. Russia, Syrian military sources and rebel officials confirmed that a new agreement had been reached after a first evacuation plan collapsed the day before amid fresh fighting. Syrian state television reported that some 4,000 rebels and their families were to be evacuated. ***** Fear and trembling come upon me, And horror has overwhelmed me. I said, "Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. "Behold, I would wander far away, I would stay in the wilderness. "I would hasten to my place of refuge From the stormy wind and tempest." Confuse, O Lord, divide their tongues, For I have seen violence and strife in the city. (Psalm 55:5-9) *****
