No one can listen to this “Agnus Dei” without getting chills

Jesús Colina - published on 08/03/17

One of the many masterful performances of the Corsican music group I MuvriniDo you dare to accept a challenge? Can you hear this Corsican Agnus Dei without feeling chills?

Stop whatever you are doing, and put on your headphones so you get the best possible experience of this choral chant, even though this live performance recording is not precisely top quality.

This is the rendition performed by I Muvrini, one of the best known musical interpreters of Corsican traditional music.

As I Muvrini explain, the world needs to rediscover the meaning of this Agnus Dei, the innocent “Lamb of God” who has given Himself up for our salvation.

If you prefer, here’s another rendering of I Muvrini’s Agnus Dei: a recording which, even if it lacks the images featured on the first video, has a better quality audio.
