A hymn for the 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time.“Beloved, Let Us Love” is a 19th-century hymn penned by Horatius Bonar. A prolific writer, Bonar wrote nearly 100 hymns, the vast majority of which are still in use in hymnals today. Along with his hymns, he wrote several full-length books, his most popular being Kelso Tracts.
In the 20th century Peter Aston set Bonar’s lyrics to this gorgeous arrangement. The song is brimming with color and makes constant use of dynamics throughout.
