“All things bright and beautiful,” her daughter’s favorite …Jenna Bush Hager, the co-host of Today with Hoda & Jennaproudly shared her family’s 2020 holiday greeting card on a recent episode of her live show. The photo features herself, her husband Henry Hager, and their three young children Mila, Poppy Louise, and Hal. It also displays the lyrics of the classic hymn “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” which Hager says is her daughter Poppy’s favorite:

All things bright and beautiful

All creatures great and small

All things wise and wonderful

The Lord God made them all …

While Hager chose a humorous greeting last year, a pun on her son’s name, Happy Hal-idays!, she explained that this thoughtful message felt appropriate this year.Hager also shared how she, like many Americans, won’t be traveling to gather with relatives this year. Regardless, she expressed a determination “to embrace all that season brings,” to hang her grandmother’s needlepoint stockings and to “watch the magic” in her kids’ eyes on Christmas morning.

In response, fans flooded the show’s Instagram page with positive comments; many as simple as “thanks – I needed to hear that!” All making it clear that Hager’s determination to focus on “All Things Bright and Beautiful” – in the midst of the many challenges of 2020 – is a message that truly sings.
