The sisters helped young women in trouble; these teenagers turned on their former teacher to complete a ritual.

"Today in Chiavenna, in the Diocese of Como, (Italy), Sr Maria Laura Mainetti is being beatified," Pope Francis announced June 6 after praying the midday Angelus.
