Cast your vote today and help select the new symbol of the pro-life movement.

A grassroots effort to design a flag to unify the pro-life movement is underway. The Pro-Life Flag Project has selected six finalists, and the polls are open for public voting until July 19, 2021.

The Pro-Life Flag Project is organized by a group of self-described “everyday pro-lifers." Now, they’ve sifted through all the prospective flags and have selected six finalists on which the public will vote

On their official website, they explain the importance of a single flag to rally pro-lifers:

They state that they did not want the flag to be designed in a vacuum. The open voting will ensure the flag represents the people behind the movement. They also do not want it to be difficult to use the flag once it is selected. To that end the winning flag will be freely-reproducible to ensure easy access to the new pro-life symbol. This offer is as available to individuals as it will be to pro-life non-profit organizations.

While we’re on the topic of pro-life non-profits, the Pro-Life Flag Movement has an impressive array of partners. They note that these organizations have never been solicited for any money. Instead they lend their support through raising awareness. Their website lists 72 pro-life partners, both in the U.S. and abroad.

The United States partners make up a diverse group, some with religious affiliations, and some secular. They include Students for Life of America, March for Life, Focus on the Family, Christian Voices for Life, Save the Storks, Heritage House ‘76, Rehumanize international, Choose Life Marketing, Consistent Life Network, Democrats for Life of America, Footprints for Life, Life Dress, Life Legal Defense Foundation, Magnificat Media, Men For Life, New Wave Feminists, Options Pregnancy Center, Pro-Life Man, Real Hope Club, Signs For Life, Talk Abut Adoption, TeenProLifers, Tipping Point, and Secular Pro-Life.

On the international end, their partners include Comite Provida de Honduras, Marcha Por La Vida, Population Research Institute, Rally for Life (Ireland), Right to Life of Western Australia, The Life Institute (Ireland), Unidos Por La Vida (Colombia).

These organizations are bolstered by a long list of Right to Life groups and smaller, local grassroots groups. See the full list here.

Visit the Pro-Life Flag Project today to cast your vote. Be sure to check back on July 19, 2021, to see which flag won and to learn how to get your very own pro-life flag.
