In the current crisis, the Catholic Church in America needs intentional disciples.

Who is the intentional disciple?

The intentional disciple has made a deliberate choice to follow Jesus. It is about as far from passivity, indifference, cultural Catholicism or vague and formless pop “spirituality” as you can get!

The response of discipleship

The intentional disciple actively cultivates the habit of subordinating all his/her needs, wants, desires, plans and earthly loves to the God who is love—incarnate, crucified and risen in the person of Jesus Christ.

Like Thomas, confronted with the risen Christ, the intentional disciple’s response is “My Lord and my God!” (Jn 20:28). Like the disciples on the Emmaus road, the intentional disciple’s heart burns within him/her (cf. Lk 24:32).

Desales Media survey

And You? Are you an intentional disciple? Put your faith, hope and love to the test with this survey promoted by our partner, DeSales Media.

A ministry based in the Diocese of Brooklyn, DeSales Media serves the Church through communications, media and technology. They would like to better respond to the needs and interests of Catholics who identify as disciples of Christ.

By completing the Intentional Discipleship Survey from Vinea Research, you assist DeSales Media in their effort, and you will have a fruitful examination of conscience.

Survey responses are completely anonymous and only seen by DeSales Media and Aleteia.

By completing the Intentional Discipleship Survey, you will have the chance both to undertake a personal examination of conscience and to help the work of Desales Media!
