Here's how to help your child truly feel thankful.

With Thanksgiving just a couple of days away, many parents will be trying to instill in their kids a feeling of gratitude. However, achieving a real sense of thankfulness isn't easy. If you look at social media posts these days, so many are signed off with the ubiquitous hashtags: #feelingthankful, #feelingblessed.

While people might feel a level of gratitude, it's what we do with this gratitude that's important. After all, if you feel God has truly blessed you then He's also asking you to use these blessings to serve others. And this is the reminder we need to share with our kids, perhaps today more than ever.

In order to help our kids feel gratitude and use it to do good, it's important that they feel it in their everyday lives, not just on special occasions such as Thanksgiving. So take a look at these ideas and see how you could use them in your own family.
