The Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles know how to come together and make the most of those long summer days.
While summer might be nearing an end, it's not to late to make the most of those long summer weekends with family and friends. In fact, you could take inspiration from a group of Carmelite sisters who recently shared what they get up to at this time of year.
In a short video on Twitter, the Carmelite Sisters shared how they get together in the summer "to pray, visit, be renewed." This involves 120 sisters coming together at "one amazing family gathering."
As you can see from the video, the religious exude joy as they pull off a pretty impressive dance routine. While the tweet gives us just a little insight into life within the order based in Los Angeles, the rhythm and unity it takes to pull off such moves can inspire us to come together with all our loved ones.
So why not arrange your own little gathering with those close to you and come together in prayer, song, and dance and see if you can match these dancing sisters!
